Cast in Iron.

I Just finished up Wizard World Philly and had an opportunity to catch up with fellow UArts Illustration alumni Shane-Michael Vidaurri. A while back Shane asked me if I would like to contribute a pin-up to his upcoming graphic novel “Iron: Or, the War After.”  It was a joy to work on and with talking to him over the weekend it is safe to say that the book was truly a labor of love.  Shane’s work is a combination of beautifully rendered watercolors, masterful pen and ink and some digital finesse. The results are David Mack meets “Watership Down” with touches of “Blacksad.”
This gorgeous hard-bound book with gold leaf touches on the cover will be released this summer in July by Archaia Entertainment and is available for pre-order here. You can also check out a free preview of the book here.

  1. Always love when you show your creative process… this drawing is awesome! The book that Shane worked on sounds really incredible and I can’t wait to read it!
