This Saturday I will be participating in the “Nation of Evil Men” Art Show at Masthead Print Studio. There is a long roster of awesomeness and I am excited to see everyone’s contribution. The idea was to create a portrait of someone infamous. For my efforts I created a silkscreen print of “Erik the Red”. I am fascinated by Vikings, not the guys on the Capital One commercials but the dudes that look like some of my uncles and the cast of “Sons of Anarchy”.
I am only revealing a small, cropped portion of my print in order to tease you into coming out to the opening. But I am small potatoes compared to some of the artsy-goodness of my fellow exhibitors. Rumor has it that Sam Heimer (curator) and James Heimer (awesome dude that printed my silkscreens) have brought some serious evil. Jeffro KILLpatrick and Paul Romano always deliver dashes of devilishness. Also, I am very curious about the the big cup of viciousness that one Jay Bevenour drinks from.
It should to be a fun and interesting night with small edition prints, original paintings and drawings priced to move.
Below is all the vital info for attending.
